Yesterday, A pre-road assessment was carried out to assess what i've learned so far and what are the areas to improve on. Coincidentally, the instructor for the day was the same as my previous lesson! Good! Good! So i had my warm up for awhile around the circuit before heading on to the road. It was my very first time driving on the road. Very excited and eager to start. Previously, didn't get to do it because i had not applied for my PDL, therefore i did not get to try driving at gear 3 and 4. More gear-shifting to handle on the road, had to keep changing up and down the gear to suit the traffic condition. Got to "speed" at 50km/h, haha so much better than going at 20km/h in the circuit! As i was getting more stable in the "quiet" road, the instructor led me to drive out to a busy road! Had to be more careful but i wasn't nervous or panic. Did quite alot of turning in a junction as well as in a traffic light.
The last part of the lesson was on the introduction of the components in bonnet. Was told which one is the engine, brake fluid, battery, coolant as well as the water for the windscreen wiper. With that, my module 1 ended liao!! Yeah!! Next would be on module 2, more road driving for me! FTT on monday!! ^_^
