Trip to Kovan market
Valentine's Day is finally here! It was only 8 in the morning when i went to Kovan market to look for a small and nice bouquet of flowers for Jo. I was told there is a flourist there who sells cheap cheap good good flowers. So i decided to make a trip there to recce the place. Haha...I think i seriously looked like an idiot sia. I was loitering around the McDonald nearby for half an hour!! At the same time, i was considering whether to get the flowers or not since she's still unable to confirm with me if she's can meet me or not. Furthermore, i also didn't want to waste the flowers too, just in case she couldn't make it last minute.
My jaw really dropped and my eyes popped out when the boss told me each bouquet of 6 stalks roses cost $70 and 3 stalks roses cost $45!!! Omg...I was shocked that even the markets had jacked up the price by so much! It seemed to make no difference anymore, whether i get the flowers from the market or shopping centres. Therefore, i dropped the thought of getting the flowers anymore from the market since i may not even got the chance to meet her. Argh! Goodness...made a waste trip early in the morning just like that.
Dinner at Crystal Jade
Oh yeah! At last she called me for dinner in the evening! But oh shit! I had no flowers!! Haha...really panick liao. Immediately rushed to shower and get changed for the dinner. On my way to meet her at Toa Payoh, i went round places to look for flower vendors, hopefully to get her at least a stalk of rose for Valentine's Day. Luck was indeed on my side, there was a vendor selling roses just nearby the Crystal Jade outlet at Toa Payoh! Haha...hopefully she likes it la!
Hmmm...so there we were, queuing at the Crystal Jade restaurant, took us like 20mins before we got our table. We ordered 3 side dishes, 4 "Xiao Long Bao" and 1 plate of "Yi Fu" noodles (which i call it t-shirt noodles haha). The amount of food we ordered was seriously not too much for the 2 of us at all. Ironically, she was the one who helped out to "kill" all the food. Haha...she can really eat alot man. I felt so full after the dinner la!
Then we went to our usual place, which is the supermarket. Helped her with some groceries again and looking for her breakfast (bread again) tomorrow. I bought her some nice bread from Breadtalk though. Oh well...she has been eating bread for breakfast every morning la! Goodness! No choice, she budget. She is so poor thing la, to see her eat bread everyday like that. Haiz...
I just came back from sending her home only. Quite tired now but it was all worth it la. Had a great time with her and a wonderful dinner too. Feel so happy now! =)
