There was a party held at Zouk to celebrate the launch of Madonna's new album "Hard Candy". Personally I've never been to Zouk before, neither did Jo. Since Candy had received an invitation to the party, we thought of going there to see see look look. The place was crowded with many people, leaving us without ample space to navigate our way through the crowd. One of the main highlights of the party includes a muay thai "demostration" fight. Candy was supposed to be in the demo, but was taken out last minute due to some budget constraints. Nonetheless, we still have some other power girls that we can cheer for!
Their version of "demostration" is so different from what i know sia. There was this girl called Jacqueline, a ngee ann poly student, she's damn fierce!! Her opponent kena whacked until nose bleed, leg "swollen" and gong diao! Eventually, the winner of the demo match will be determined by the volume of the applause from the audience. Surely, such a fierce boxer like Jacqueline won the hearts of many supporters. As such, She was also given a free mp3 player.
We didn't stay there till very late as we still have to work tomorrow. Hmmm...quite an eye-opener for me i guess. Haha..

Hehe! A significant date to note for today! Officially 1 year soldier liao! Definitely worth celebrating. Went out with Vinnie, Shiu Hei and Darrell for a mini gathering. Met out for lunch/dinner at Nihon Mura(日本村) in Cathay. We ordered too much food liao, we had Tako Yaki, Sushis, Yaki Tori, Chawanmushi, the Dons, Soft Shell Crab, Chicken Cutlet, Dumplings and some Udons. Filled our stomach to the MAX! Then we played pool nearby to kill some time before we started taking 857 to Shiu Hei's house to watch soccer.
Chelsea vs Man U!! The final score was 2-1. Drogba, Ballack and Rooney were on the score sheet. Vinnie and Darrell (the Man U fans) were damn sianz diao because Ballack's winning goal was a penalty due to a handball by Carrick! Throughout the match Shiu Hei(the Liverpool fan) was cursing the Chelsea's player to break their legs or get injured. Cheering every tackles made against the Chelsea players and hoping for an injury to occur. But none happened, so disappointing!! Muahaha!
On my way home at Toa Payoh interchange, there was a girl standing opposite of me at the 26 bus stand. A guy approached her right in front of the other commuters with his mobile phone.
Guy: "Excuse me, you're from the same church as me right? I've seen you there. Can we exchange numbers?!" (Like that also can?!! Now i know why some people always look forward to attend service).
Girl(stunned): "Huh, ya, but what for? You don't know how to go to our church?"
(How can it be possible? He already how old liao...3 years old?)
Guy: "I mean exchange our numbers, to make friends."
(Zai! Straight forward and clear cut! Salute thee! But is it that simple?)
Girl: "Oh...(keying her number into his mobile phone) What is your name?"
(Omg! She really gave him her number!)
Guy: "Wei Ke. W-e-i K-e! Ok! i'll give you a miss call. Talk to you again. Bye bye!"
Hmmm...not bad sia, like that ask for number. So next time on the street, i won't be surprised to see more and more guys going for church. Or rather church hopping?? 1 day see this girl, can say he from this church. Another day see another girl, can say he from that church. Hmmm...probably a part-time "matchmaking center". Sounds good!

3 more days and i'm officially a 1 year soldier!! Haha, meaning that i am already halfway through my service term and only 1 more year to ORD lo!! Hmm...time passes quite fast leh, last year still at Tekong "yes sergeant! No sergeant!", "yes sir! No sir" but now, what is sergeant?? Lolx...standby bed no more, standby area no more, marching no more, clean rifle no more and water parade no more!!! Hahaha, everyday can just ba long long own time own target do my work.
However, what i miss dearly would be the times i had with my platoon and bunk mates. Despite the different backgrounds that we come from, the days in Tekong gave us the opportunity to know and learn from each other. So glad to have met people like Vinnie, Shiu Hei, Sua Ning, Mak, Darrell, Joel (we call him the 'Sex Machine'), Yong Yuan (we call him 'PCC') and so on. Always gathered at the meeting table in my bunk to talk cock every night during our free time and listening to each other's stories, especially Joel's juicy stories lolx...
I can still remember vividly there was once when we wanted to make a birthday card for one of our sergeants in the platoon. We did not have the necessary resources we need to make him a very nice card. We made do with just some coloured pens, hightlighter and a piece of foolscap paper for the card. We drew and wrote him something on the card before folding it into a paper plane as we knew that his ambition is to become an air steward. But then...something terrible happened.
Lights off timing was supposed to be 2230hrs, but we were still rushing to complete the card. The sergeant were already shouting up to us to switch off our lights but apparently we did not. He was SOOO frustrated that he screamed us down to fall in and started to f*** and punished us. We all felt terrible, we knew we were wrong not to obey the lights off timing but we also explained to him our intention. He went silent for awhile, feeling very guilty and touched, he changed his tone and told us to go back.
The following day, we gave him the card early in the morning. He apologised and thanked us for the 'special' gift. First time kena F*** so badly just to make something special for someone. Hmmm...Indelible memories, will never forget man. Eager to ORD as soon as possible man lolx....

Toni and Guy Academy just had their graduation hair show at The Arts House. We were invited by Jojo and Zhu to attend the event as they were one of the models for this show. They were approached by one of their student for it. The student had Zhu's hair dyed blonde and permed, which made her look very much like a barbie doll. Haha looks so sweet and beautiful!~~
As for Jojo, her "virgin hair" (she insisted of not dying her hair) had a white leaf-like design sprayed on. Simple yet delicate and creative. However, i have problems with her makeup. Her eyeshadows were so dark and thick, looks very much like Ju'on in the dark sia!!
Hmm...the whole show was quite a short one. It started at 2030 and ended at around 2100. There were 5 students, each had to come out with 1 batch of different hair design. Some designs were really Bizzare!! Among the students, there is one who is only 15 years old! Very young indeed and ya, impressive!! ^_^
Lolx...anyway, 2 more "major" activities coming up! Outing with my platoon mates to celebrate our 1 year soldier and Candy's Muay Thai demo fight at Zouk!! Haha...Looking forward to it!!

I've just managed to finish chionging through the 17 episodes long "斗牛 。要不要". Have been "working" so hard for the past few nights, staying up till 1+ every night just to watch it. Just can't resist the temptation to continue watching it la! I was so restless and lethargic in the office, hiding behind the monitor in my small cubicle and close my eyes. So lucky that i didn't get caught by anyone lolx...
Hebe looks so cute with her short hair in the show lo haha. See the photo attached to the post. Who disagrees with me? Ought to be shot!! Keke..
Aiyo, now that i've finished the whole series, feel so sianz...sort of an empty feeling. Argh! i miss "斗牛 。要不要"! Miss the basketball scenes!! Damn cool la their skills. Suddenly, it reminded me of the group of people who played dirty basketball yesterday. Damn pissed with them, action kids =.=||| Hmm...time to sleep anyway, going to meet Guo Xin for basketball in the morning.
