Hehe! A significant date to note for today! Officially 1 year soldier liao! Definitely worth celebrating. Went out with Vinnie, Shiu Hei and Darrell for a mini gathering. Met out for lunch/dinner at Nihon Mura(日本村) in Cathay. We ordered too much food liao, we had Tako Yaki, Sushis, Yaki Tori, Chawanmushi, the Dons, Soft Shell Crab, Chicken Cutlet, Dumplings and some Udons. Filled our stomach to the MAX! Then we played pool nearby to kill some time before we started taking 857 to Shiu Hei's house to watch soccer.
Chelsea vs Man U!! The final score was 2-1. Drogba, Ballack and Rooney were on the score sheet. Vinnie and Darrell (the Man U fans) were damn sianz diao because Ballack's winning goal was a penalty due to a handball by Carrick! Throughout the match Shiu Hei(the Liverpool fan) was cursing the Chelsea's player to break their legs or get injured. Cheering every tackles made against the Chelsea players and hoping for an injury to occur. But none happened, so disappointing!! Muahaha!
On my way home at Toa Payoh interchange, there was a girl standing opposite of me at the 26 bus stand. A guy approached her right in front of the other commuters with his mobile phone.
Guy: "Excuse me, you're from the same church as me right? I've seen you there. Can we exchange numbers?!" (Like that also can?!! Now i know why some people always look forward to attend service).
Girl(stunned): "Huh, ya, but what for? You don't know how to go to our church?"
(How can it be possible? He already how old liao...3 years old?)
Guy: "I mean exchange our numbers, to make friends."
(Zai! Straight forward and clear cut! Salute thee! But is it that simple?)
Girl: "Oh...(keying her number into his mobile phone) What is your name?"
(Omg! She really gave him her number!)
Guy: "Wei Ke. W-e-i K-e! Ok! i'll give you a miss call. Talk to you again. Bye bye!"
Hmmm...not bad sia, like that ask for number. So next time on the street, i won't be surprised to see more and more guys going for church. Or rather church hopping?? 1 day see this girl, can say he from this church. Another day see another girl, can say he from that church. Hmmm...probably a part-time "matchmaking center". Sounds good!
