Coming back home from camp only at 5am early in the morning after a sleepless night, i must be bloody kidding myself if i were to say that i am not tired and sleepy at all. I wanted to really sleep, but at the same time afraid that i might overslept as i was planning to meet Jo for breakfast first thing when she wakes up. It has been ages since i've last seen her. However, it didn't take long before i gave in to exhaustion. True enough, i really overslept despite the fact that i had like 2 alarms standing by my bedside. Haiz...by the time i saw the offline message that she has dropped in msn, it was already too late. Sianz...
I was with Guo Xin the whole afternoon at the Singapore Expo for the 'Food Fest'. Honestly, from the variety to the quality, it was quite a disappoinment. The most "memorable" food would be none other than the 'Oyster Vermicili'. The taste is totally crap! I wonder if the organisers did conduct any QC on the food or not or maybe they just pass most of the applications as long as they received the payment for the booths can liao. The other food there were very ordinary. I was even surprised to see lots of frozen food being sold at the various booths. It caught me wondering which is actually the main emphasis for this 'Food Fest', the ordinary frozen food or the delicious and wide variety of local delicacies? Things like 'Fried Carrot Cake', 'Chicken Curry' and etc were nowhere to be found. Yes, maybe only those pre-made packets of curry paste and XO paste could be seen. Something is just lacking in this event.
Oh well, so dead tired now...I need my sleep.....
